Ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Singer EDMAN To Guest On SILENT CALL Album
July 30, 2007Swedish vocalist Göran Edman (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JOHN NORUM, BRAZEN ABBOT, GLORY) has issued the following update:
"I have considered not to sing the last two songs that originally were meant for James LaBrie [DREAM THEATER] on Viv's [French composer Vivien Lalu] SHADRANE project. The guy who did the guideline will sing them (Martin LeMar). No hard feelings between me and Viv and he will be able to keep the deadline. The reason is that I'm drained from all work with VINDICTIVE and also that I did not think the songs fitted my style. I did not like the basic ideas and did not know how to change them to anything else either.
"Mats Olausson [ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN] is going to Malmö to add some keyboards to the GEFF project.
"I'm only gonna check out the three last songs with VINDICTIVE after the real drums were added so that everything seems to work together. Then I will be done with my part and Stefan has to find someone that will mix the album.
"I will do a guest performance together with the singer Andi Cravljaca in SILENT CALL. The song on which I sing is called 'Long Comes the Night' and is a kind of power ballad. I have already recorded the files and only have to deliver them."
